Intake and What to Expect

Initial Consultation

Intake
Request an initial consultation. Initial consultations are free of charge and will last 30 minutes.

Evaluation
After initial consultation, the client (or caregiver if the client is a minor) will be sent intake questionnaires in their SimplePractice portal.
Please plan on having this submitted within 10 days or before the first evaluation sessions, whichever occurs first.

Start of Services
Evaluation: An evaluation will be completed by UnmaskEd, LLC.
Evaluation includes:

Review of files, if available

One 60 minute rapport building session with therapist. This session is intended for the client and therapist to get to know each other, begin discussing the client's goals for themselves, and ensure the client feels UnmaskEd is the right fit for them.
At this point, it is also very helpful if any evaluations or IEPs completed by your child's school are shared with UnmaskEd.
*Please note the evaluation process is highly individualized and dynamic.
Report: After the final evaluation session, you will receive a written evaluation report, which will serve as a body of evidence for which supports/goals are most appropriate for the client.
After receiving the evaluation report, the client (or caregiver) may schedule sessions or request a post-evaluation consult call (30 minutes) meeting with UnmaskEd, LLC to review the report, ask questions, and collaborate on the client's goals.
UnmaskEd, LLC offers a variety of packages to best meet the client's needs and budget.
Each session will be individualized to target the client's strengths, needs, and goals.
Location of session will be discussed upon scheduling. Sessions typically take place virtually, but may also be offered in person in the Denver Metro area.
At this time, we do not offer home based services.
All sessions, including your initial consultation, are scheduled through Simple Practice.
