We understand situations arise when you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To do so, we request you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to another client on our waiting list.

Cancellations, missed appointments, or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50. Missed appointments (no-shows) will not be rescheduled.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy, as it helps us maintain efficient scheduling and service quality for all our clients. In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us directly to discuss your situation. We may be able to waive the cancellation fee at our discretion.

Invoices & Payment:

Educational Therapy sessions: Educational therapy services are sold in packages of 10, 20, 30 or pre-paid sessions. Invoices are to be paid through Simple Practice. Payments accepted: debit/credit through your Simple Practice account. Invoice must be paid prior to the start of services. Delayed payment may result in postponed sessions until balance is paid.
Annual materials fee: For new clients, this fee will be applied to your account along with the invoice for the academic evaluation. For returning clients, this fee will be applied to your account annually. Payment due within 7 days of invoice. If payment has not been received within 7 days, a late payment fee of $30 for your overdue balance will be charged to your account and may result in postponed sessions until balance is paid.
Meetings/consultation/other services: Payment due the day of service, with a 7 day grace period. If payment has not been received within 7 days, a late payment fee of $30 for your overdue balance will be charged to your account and may result in postponed sessions until balance is paid.

Refunds:

We do not offer refunds for services that have been prepaid or rendered.
Missed appointments (no-shows) are non-refundable.
Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance will result in rescheduling of the appointment.
Any and all administrative or clerical errors will be refunded at anytime upon request or our discovery.
New clients only: After purchasing your first educational therapy service package, If you are not satisfied with UnmaskEd's educational therapy services, you may cancel remaining sessions and request a partial refund after the first five consecutive sessions with us (maximum refund: $600, depending on selected package). If you choose to cancel within the first five sessions, you are terminating services for the foreseeable future.
