Intake Process- Educational Therapy

Initial Consultation

Fill out our contact form to request an initial consultation. Initial consultations are free of charge and will last 15 minutes. Once the form has been submitted, you will receive a response within 48 hours to schedule an appointment.

Duration: 15 minutes

Cost: None (+30 for each additional 15 minutes)

Academic Evaluation

An academic evaluation will be completed by UnmaskEd, LLC. Evaluation will take 3-6 sessions, depending on each child. At this point, it is also very helpful if any evaluations or IEPs completed by your child's school is shared with UnmaskEd, LLC.

After the final evaluation session, you will receive a written evaluation report, which will serve as a body of evidence for which supports and interventions are most appropriate for your child.

After you receive the written evaluation report, you may schedule sessions for your child or request a meeting with UnmaskEd, LLC to ask questions or collaborate on your child's goals.

Duration: 1 hour per session (3-6 sessions)

Cost: $700

Post-evaluation consult call

Duration: 30 minutes

Cost: No charge; ($20 per additional 15 minutes)

Schedule Sessions

UnmaskEd, LLC offers 3 session packages-- 10, 20, or 30 sessions (60 minutes per session). Each session will be individualized for your child's strengths, needs, and goals.

Location of session will be discussed upon scheduling. Common locations for sessions: public library, park, etc.

Advocacy

Advocacy can look different based on your family's needs, and may go beyond what is listed below. Please reach out if your family's advocacy needs are not listed below.

Collaboration

We are always happy to collaborate with your student's in school and private service providers. Both parties will require a consent to release form prior to contact.

*Child must be currently or recently receiving educational therapy services from UnmaskEd, LLC.

IEP Draft Review

Review of IEP draft with notes for possible changes needed for goals, accommodations, and services.

Service Includes: Notes and 30 minute virtual meeting to discuss and help you to feel prepared for your meeting.

Cost: $150

IEP Advocate- in meeting

Attendance at your child's IEP meeting and serve as an advocate to ensure you understand the information presented to you, your child's and your own needs are met, and your voice is heard.

Service Includes: IEP Draft Review and in person or virtual meeting attendance.

Cost: $200 for first hour, plus $25 for each additional 15 minutes of meeting

Parent Coaching

The beauty of parent/caregiver coaching is that you get to collaborate with your child's service provider and learn to carry over what is being done in therapy. When we work as a team, you would be surprised the things that would be accomplished.

Parent coaching is never intended to tell you how to parent, tell you your parenting style is right or wrong, or to imply we know your child better than you-- we know that is never the case. Parent coaching is available to support you in dealing with challenges (whether they are behavior, conflict with the school, etc.) and to provide you with insight from a third party.

Your child does not have to be receiving educational therapy services from UnmaskEd in order for you to utilize this service. We will meet virtually to discuss your personal support needs.

Cost: $40 per 30 minutes
